Who ever said Penn State should be #2? I don't ever recall seeing that. Had they beat Michigan earlier in the season, then it would be a different story.

The only way they were getting #2 after the bowls is if they soundly beat Florida State, which they didn't, and USC soundly beat Texas. Both situations had to happen to give a legit reason for Penn State being #2. Even then it would've been a stretch, but the arguement could've been made.

What about all those "computer" rankings that had PSU ranked as #1 late in the season? Someone brought that up. All I'm saying is that PSU HAD their chance to vault into the #2 spot and failed. Someone was going to lose in the Rose Bowl. A good showing by PSU wuold have moved them up when everything was taken into consideration. Guess those computer rankings that everyone raved about earlier might have meant something in the final rankings if #3 would have soundly beat #22.

If you check out Ham's signature line, you can all see who is saying PSU is #2. Unless reality has sunk in and he put them back to #3.
