Delweld vs. Roberts

The umpiring must have been good in games 2,3, and 4 since nobody complained about it.

What crew will have game 5?

The umpiring in the series has been good except for the home plate umpire in Game 1. All a pitcher,hitter and coach are looking for is consistency back there. Your strike zone should be the same whether its the 1st inning or the 7th, whether the count is 0-2 or 3-0.
Sure there have been some bang bang and or questionable calls, but for the most part the umps have been in good positions to make their calls.
Having umpired for years and still doing so on occassion, people are going to disagree with close calls depending on how they go. You have to shut out the complaints from the fans and the coaches while maintaining control of the game.
Not sure what crew will get the assignment: lets hope they do a good job and let the kids decide the game.
Any thoughts on pitching match up tonight? I would guess Bowser for Delweld w/ 3 days rest vs. Skoner for Roberts on 2 days rest.
Should be a good game.

I ould think that either bowser, ziance, or helman for delweld, and either skoner, or lehman for roberts. Watkins is still available but he tweakesd his back against breakers and then again against delweld. Evenly matched series so far and thats how championships are supposed to be. I am a huge delweld fan, so i would like to see them win it all, but you can never count out roberts escpecially if their golves are working because they have the bats working for them just about every game. This game tonight i think will be won by even one little mistake on either side. My guess is delweld wins 6-5. any other thoughts on this one before tonight. Get back to me.

I think it will be a close one too. 1-2 runs either way. I'd like to see both teams play their best and see what happens. I think errors and walks/hit batsmen by the pitchers will decide it. Looking forward to some exciting baseball tonight.

One more note before i head down to watch.
Delweld and Roberts have both had great successful season, and i hope a call by the officiating crew tonight does not effect a win either way.

Roberts won championship game 6-0. They came to play tonight w/ another great pitching performance by Skoner , flawless defense and timely hitting. Great series between them and Deweld

well it could've been a better game but delweld just didn't get their bats going at all. Skowner pitched another excellent game, but although the score doesn't shot it, delweld's pitchers didn't pitch a bad game either. There were two things that hurt delweld. 1. getting base hits, and scoring. 2. ERRORS. errors killed them in this game. they might have had 5 or even 6 costly errors. Without them they still would've lost becuase of not producinga ny offense but they would have only lost 2-0, or even 1-0.

Good season to both teams. I would expect delweld to be in the championship series again next year because they are going to have some nice bats and some nice pitching.
