District V has some good distance runners, the problem is getting the support to run. Most D5 schools are too small to create a whole team. Look at Bedford and Ridge for example, they are two of the biggest schools in D5 and still have a hard time filling a roster to compete. As individuals it's even tougher because you need to practice on your own and provide your own transportation to meets.

So I'm glad to see runners like Snyder and Wilt competing. I would love to see Podlesnik run as well.

How are Mitchell's and Wilt's times? I havent seen any times from either, even though I have seen Wilt's name in the top 10 of a few area races.


Snyder will definately be D5 Champ, that kid is insane.

Wilt has been steady in the mid 17's i think. Mitchell has not ran a great time yet. I think he was in the 19's at Bedford. I don't know how that course compares to others though
