I have watched Westmont play last year against Westmont and also this year. You can only rebound a missed shot and the way Westment shot against McCort this year I would match them against McCort last year. Westmont had no shooter last year. And the young kid is getting more rebounds then any Westmont kid got last year. Cruz will be back next year so McCort has the chance to match Westmonts record. Lets see how they do. Good luck to both teams in the playoffs.

come on comparing eras a difference of a couple months?

analyzing this fictional matchup

O'Connor at 6-5 would be able to score at least 25-30 points and grab 10-12 rebounds

Mike Cruz as well would be getting rebounds and keeping the Westy post players out of the paint

Trotz and Young are alright but O'Connor is on a much higher level

Balog with Lewis on him has trouble scoring put the taller and faster Wadley on him equals same results

Stephenson would still hit his shots but eventually would tire out to Spangler's relentless D

Watson and Varga would be similar to this years matchup pretty even

So Westmont would battle but still The Crushers of 06-07 would be 10 point winners

open for arguement

and back to a thing that was mentioned
I never ever said the refs were the reason why we lost the D6 Semifinals(our lack of making foul shots and some layups and poor passing) or any game to Westmont i said they got some favorable calls but they would have won without them

so i know not to blame officiating

McCorts win tonight over Penns Valley means a birth in the PIAA tournament and a trip to Harrisburg to face the District 3 champions York Catholic and their junior phenom point goard Jacob Iati who has over 1600 points already in his career. G'Luck to the Crushers but it would take a miraculous effort to topple the Irish.

I think this is a winnable game in the State Playoffs
If it stays low scoring and defenseive game theres hope but I really dont know what District 3 has to offer?

but any idea where the Site of Saturday's game could potentially be?closer to York obviously

And also this is disrespectful to D-6 Why instead of D-5 do we have to be in the Eastern Bracket?I doubt theres any argument that the first 5-6 D-6 AA teams could win D-5!

It could be played at the Giant Center in Hershey, where they used to play the state finals. That is where the D3 playoffs played most of their games, so i dont know for sure but that could be a possibility.
