It all depends on what an athlete wants too..maybe that athlete doesnt feel they can compete at a D1-AA school, and will just go D2. They might not like the options they are given, or not like the campus or majors the college has to offer. All are factors as well, and choosing a college shouldnt be made by the size of the football program, especially if you know going to the pros is out the window. Think future first. Student-Athlete. Student first, athlete second. These are the things most athletes need to realize before they go to a college they are unhappy with, and fail out because they dont like the college atmosphere.

Edumacationated people do better than unedumacationated people after all...

No one in our area is going to play D1 at RB so who cares?
Obviously the people care that asked if he was getting any looks from a D1 school. You guys on here are so quick to jump and defend any McCort player even if someon asks a simple question and I answer it.
Actually it was "pats" that I was responding to. Took my chances on thinking he wanted to tear BM down, which is probably the case...

Saying "highlights" is your source is like asking a presidental candidate who he is voting for! You saw Lowry get beat on what you claim two tds. You didnt see pass break-ups, hard hits, and good coverage. Richland obviously played their best game of the season vs BM and lost. Maybe they'll make a run in the playoffs.

Who ever said scouts look for potential is right on the money. If you have the hight, weight, 40 time your in. Stats not necessary because injury and lack of competition are two major factors...

Taking injury into consideration...Johnny Franco is a prime example..had he not gotten hurt his senior year, what other schools would have looked at him? He played 1 game his senior year, and is at West Point the next year, playing for Army.

It would be nice to see Lowry get a shot from a MAC school he has good size and decent speed, maybe as a SS. Maybe he will end up at a high level d1-aa with a solid academic program ala JMU or W&M.

Lowry is the real deal. He's got the talent, the heart, & probably most importantly, the smarts. I say Tommy Bradley is taking a good look at him because he knows the good stuff!

did not hate on mccort or anyone at all, complimented if anything. Yea I am sure both Lowry and Ripple beat eachother various times, I just thought it was funny the way he put it. Sorry to VMAN or any other mccort people I harmed.
