Found some justification for PSU playing Hartford and NJIT earlier this season. It was the opening round of the Philly Hoops Classic in which the final rounds are played at Penn University. They beat Hartford and NJIT so they play Rhode Island tomorrow and eventually either Towson or 'Nova. That explains a little more why these teams are on the schedule. Here is a little more information on this tourney.

However, these teams (Hartford and NJIT) are listed on PSU's schedule, whether or not they are in a tournamant. RI is listed on their original schedule too. The only team NOT listed from that tournament is either Towson or Villanova. PSU gets one of those depending how they do with RI, and how Towson and 'nova do against each other.

Ladies & Gentlemen what we have here is a serious problem it's called (PETJP )Prolonged Exposure to JoePa......fortunately there is Prolonged Exposure Therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorders & PETJP..... Vman can arrange some imaginal exposure (also called revisiting the trauma memory in imagination) which is repeated recounting of the traumatic memory...in this case one is forced to watch reruns of Joe Pa pressers until 5:45 a.m. w/ eye lids pried open by toothpicks! If one persists in repetition of terms like "that's a good ball club" or "I don't know" or "they have that number (whatever)" the only alternatives are pharmacological treatments or hospitalization! And if patient demonstrates rolling up pant legs, wearing white socks & inexplicably sprinting towards the latrine a 30 day commitment is mandatory!!
