Cincy's bowl games prior to joining Big East

2000 Motor City Bowl Marshall 25 Cincinnati 14
2001 Motor City Bowl Toledo 23 Cincinnati 16
2002 New Orleans Bowl North Texas 24 Cincinnati 19

Louisville Bowl gmaes prior to joining

2001 Liberty Bowl Louisville 28 BYU 10 Won
2002 GMAC Bowl Marshall 38 Louisville 15 Lost
2003 GMAC Bowl Miami (Ohio) 49 Louisville 28 Lost

USF
2003 3rd in Conference USA
2004 6th in Conference USA

UCONN
2004 bowl beat Toledo
Prior to this the were I-AA

Are you trying to tell me that prior to joining the Big East these teams were any better than Illinois, Purdue, and Minnesota. I see a bunch of teams that got absolutley smoked by mac teams in their bowl games prior to joining.

I'm not telling you anything, I just felt like bringing out some good ole Billy Madison.

And teams aren't allowed to get better? I didn't know that rule was in place

Again......Sagarin Speaks!!!! In his FINAL 2009-2010 college football poll, 6 Big East teams were ranked in the final 41 teams. There were only 4 from the Big Ten. The next closest one to #41 was Michigan State, at #55. So what can I say? Crimson09Crazy asked if teams aren't allowed to get better? Perhaps the Big Ten teams are getting worse? Something has changed.

Crimson - I have a question for you. When you and Moldy share a romantic night together is there any truth to the rumor that he has Jeff Sagarin tattooed on his lower back. You know a tramp stamp.

It usually ends up in a bitter argument about Forest Hills and McCort. We can't get past that.

The Big Ten was courting Texas and Nebraska and the Big East fans were giddy over Memphis and Central Florida.

Some observations Kirky...I recall a game (being generous) @ the Beave a few rs back between Toledo & UPS

It was something like the Klinger's Fighting Blue Hens 26 UPS 6...they kicked your arse

Toledo Penn St
First downs 25 9
Rushed-yards 54-245 27-30
Passing yards 140 136
Sacked-yards lost 2-11 7-39
Return yards 10 54
Passes 18-28-0 10-24-0
Punts 5-39.8 6-41.8
Fumbles-lost 0-0 2-1
Penalties-yards 3-25 2-10
Time of possession 40:19 19:41

And never get on the Bulls of USF who had the most Meteroric rise to Div I FB in History!!

I highly doubt you, as a Pitt fan, want to get into arguments over losses to Mac teams.

Furman is another funny story.
