Very good point Cricket.... hmmm recruiting, Im not sure if that goes on there or not, honestly cant say.. But here is my question. Maybe the rules have changed Im not too sure, isnt it if a public school takes a student in another an athelete from another district they must then take into account the other districts entire male/female enrollment (pending on which one they get boy or girl) (something along those lines). Yes you say you have maybe 80 students and yes most of them have been going there for a long time but then again arent you getting students from several districts and not having to take into consideration all of those enrollments as a public school would???

Superstar, give me some proof. All you do is talk. What you say means nothing.

Crimson - I know of two such incidents where players have been contacted but remain at the public school. One parent called and reported it to the public school. This was being done through players not coaches. A Private School player befriends a Public School's better athletes and starts the process. Remember these kids live in the same town. I have personally witnessed a high school junior from a Private School hanging with a Public Schools eighth grader who was a very good athlete. If it smells like crap, and look like crap it usually is recruiting.
About proving it, when a parent can go in front of the committee and not be truthful then its hard to prove anything.
Seriously could care less about it but when pointed out it does look suspicious.

The OG agrees.Crimson09Crazy wrote:I've been saying for years, OMOS High School would be lights out.
The problem is that two names aren't on that list: Scott Lewis, Chaz Merriman.
Without these two PUBLIC SCHOOL TRANSFERS, McCort is still sitting on their ONE district 6 2001 crown. That team in 2001, was ALL legit.
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

Re: McCort @ Carroll
Seems to me McCort got in trouble for recruiting voilations in another sport. So I guess if they get in trouble for one that makes them suspious in others. Why dance around the obvious, privates recruit end of story.Just continue your conversation about McCort and Carrol, who if I remember right had an interseting portage transfer of there own this year.jack daniel wrote:usatf
while your at name the recruited players on mccort's roster too?
