No not particularly, I just do not think he needs to be revered like a lot of outside observers think.

And you are not exactly right with the politics. Usually it is won with the most leverage or best insider connection. Politics aren't filled with clean democratic votes.

Not to mention you can not say at all this is what the majority wanted. There were not 150 supporters like the paper said. Unless the paper went around at the meeting and asked every single person if they were a supporter and miraculously they all agreed. A few people even spoke up and clearly stated their feelings which was not support for Bailey at all.

How recent and how have they managed to survive in the interim without someone in this position? How much is the enrollment projected to rise?

Will have to check class numbers but elementary school has some decent size classes. They are picking up some kids from st benny's every year and people that are moving into the area (though not many) most often move to the East Hills. Plus there are plans to build low to medium income houses in Richland (not exactly sure but article was in the tribune. I believe the previous admin that held that position retired last year or the beginning of this year. Maybe someone can help me with this information.

So what you are saying is that it took a decent QB in order to win? Well, bud, there's only about 40,000 small school head coaches who would agree with that. Its just like my buddy said the other night: They are trying to fire the guy b/c Pecora graduated.

It takes a DARN good qb to win throwing 31 times in a game. It takes a decent qb and good kid to win with an offense that does not involve that kind of passing and pressure. So what are you implying Bailey or any local coach will do "good" when he has a qb of Geno or Pecora caliber? In that case Bailey may never go to playoffs again and 90% of teams should give up now.

This whole thing is a joke. Must be nice to 'fill' an unfilled positon with a fb coach when other districts balance budgets by not filling positions - letting attrtion take place. And no one has even mentioned that ol Brandon is no rocket scientist (Many close to the sitution claim hes dumber than a rock) :)

Maybe if your principal isn't doubling as the football coach he would have the time to do the job of the director of education services as well as the job of principal? Central Cambria does not have a director of education services. Forest Hills has two of them.

I think its hilarious that so many people with so few posts are on here bashing Bailey. This is after Marty Radovanic made it known that the school board was aware of "internet stories". Give me a break. You're gonna have to do a little better than this to disguise yourselves, fellas.

And why was a relative of one of the players (who's name has popped up so much) on Bleacher Coaches putting out fires last week?

There is good and bad to what happened last night. Good- they made a decision in a timley manor, they didn't let this linger which is good for the school. They kept thier coach and filled a postion they already had. They don't look like total fools for firing him with no cause. Bad- No matter what the caved into the coach, the parents, and BleacherCoaches. If anything at all bad happens next year, then there will be a lot of backlash from this situation. Some players will never be on board with Coach Baily again. A few players may even transfer to another school. So all in all, it could have been worse for Richland but not much.
