I think the QB is good. Voytik.

I like Coles from Clairton. And the Davis kid from Ohio. and the two Defensive Ends from Ohio might be something. But everyone else is MAC.

You wanna know why PSU can't get any top recruits; watch todays Temple tape, I physically gagged a few times. Undisciplined, terrible clock management, terrible substitutions at the wrong time, and plain awful play...PSU would be lucky to finish over 500 in the MAC, ah maybe a stretch but I'd lay money that they wouldn't win it.

Agree with EagleAlum. It was sickening. The coaching staff is putrid. The clock management at the end of the half was laughable. Brandon Beachum getting as many carries as he did was a head scratcher. Bolden and Mcgloin each look worse than last year which says alot. Joe wanted to put Dozier in for the short side sweep. It is obvious that this is a poor coached team. Michael Robinson and Daryll Clark saved the offense with their athletic ability for a few years, but it is painfully obvious that none of these offensive coaches have a clue.

Has anyone else noticed this. JMO, I believe Bolden is far and away a better athlete and talent, and possibly a better qb. But I've noticed out of all of the dozens of drops the receivers have had,...90% were balls thrown by Bolden and the few nice catches or tough catches came when Mc- Groin was in there....to me, they (the team) don't want Bolden in there; they play harder for Mc-Groan. At one point Bolden was 5/11 with 4 dropped balls. McCrotch comes in and his 1st pass, the receiver makes a nice diving catch. Something is going on behind the scenes. It's way too obvious.

Well, we just saw 2 kids who made very good decisions. Kenny Stills is one of the best WRs in the nation already, picked OU over Penn State. Lattimore is possibly the best RB in the country already, picked So Carolina over Penn State.

As bad as it is to say this, maybe a loss to Temple would have shown people how bad it really is up there. My dad left the game last week and told me he had never heard so many fans talking about how about buying tickets is a waste of money and how Paterno needs to go.

New rumor is "Urban Meyer wants the job". Right.

Any recruit who goes to PSU right now is crazy. I love the atmosphere at State College and the campus, but if you are going to be a football player who has aspirations of being a professional football player on the offensive side of the ball, you are hurting your chances. The list of 4 to 5 star lineman that have gone to PSU and done nothing is unbelievable. QB's get worse.

Eagle Alum,

I said the exact same thing to the guy I was watching the game with. It is especially obvious with Moye. He couldn't catch anything Bolden threw early in the game, and as soon as McGloin enters game he looks like the second coming of Fred Biletnikoff.

In fairness, OL recruiting IS the hardest to gauge, and every school has loads of OL busts. But their APPROACH to coaching those kids is where I take issue.
