Where did Ligonier Valley apply for membership first?

I find it hard to believe LV picked the WPIAL over the LHAC.
Name one good reason they picked the WPIAL over the LHAC.
The LHAC is so much more similar in demographics.
Or could LV choosing the WPIAL be just a big rumor that was said so many times that everyone is assuming it is true?

The reason I failed to mention that is because I wasn't really talking about that. I was talking about LV. If you want my opinion on that I would tend to agree with you. On most years the best in D6 would just be above average in the wpial. Now, there are exceptions to the rule. The past decade BM would have been at the top of A right below Clairton and Rochester. FH could definitely crack the top five with some of their best teams. I think the past two years Johnstown would have been competitive with all but a select few.

Other than those few exceptions I think you are right. I watched Upper St Clair and North Allegheny the past two weeks on Root Sports and the physicality with which their lines play is nothing we see here. Now we don't have those size schools for the most part but nonetheless they are very impressive.

I find it humorous that the posters on this thread say that they heard that Ligonier is applying for WPIAL membership first while the posters on the other thread say they are applying for LHAC membership first. Seems to me that somebody is making things up.
