And just when it looked like there might be hope that they'd possibly win the Big East...

Midnite basketball starts soon, with the first exhibition game Oct 29th. As Ray Kinsella used to hear, "Ease their pain".

Vman last seen @ Memorial Med Center approximately 10:00 p.m.(following conclusion of Pitt/WVU contest)

The ER staff claimed the patient drove a 5 penny nail directly thru his forehead & was aimlessly mumbling something about F'n sunseri & how people just don't understand how difficult it really is to be a Pitt fan

Hey, look at the bright side. At least we don't have some psycho creating four or five new subjects on here every day hating on Pitt. So we got that going for us
Re: Not Easy Being a Pitt Fan

Re: Not Easy Being a Pitt Fan
For the time being, life got just a little bit easier for Pitt fans. Not only did Pitt become bowl eligible in football, but their men's B-Ball team went down to Tennessee and beat the Vols in front of a huge home crowd. Nothing to write home about, but an overall satisfying day for Pitt athletics.

Looked good without Woodall. We didn't miss his guaranteed 8 turnovers tonight.
Re: Not Easy Being a Pitt Fan
I was impressed by the fact that the attendance was over 17,000, most of which were Tennessee fans. Especially when Pitt played true freshmen in that kind of atmosphere. Last year at this time, they probably hadn't even played a game yet in their high school season.

I don't know about you but I'm really high on John Johnson. Lots of poise for the young man, and can really stroke the 3. I anticipate his playing time goes way up as the year goes on. Reminds me a lot of the little guard for UConn, Shabazz Napier.
