If Morton can't go, it will be a good time for Lincoln to get an audition. Granted Lincoln will only be 27 next season, but at some point soon the FO is going to have to give him a shot to see if he has what it takes to be a SP in the bigs.

Locke and Owens should both get some quality starts this season especially with the durability issues with Bedard.

I was watching a Pirates insider show the other day and the two pundants both said they don't expect Garrit Cole to be moved along very quickly, but both expect him to get an early spot start or two just to get his feet wet and give him an idea what he needs to work on....I hope it's not too early, he got hammered in the futures game.
