Vincentian Academy has filled that open date in all section 3 schedules. They are a new team from the North Hills of Pittsburgh that does not qualify for the WPIAL playoffs. Quite a distance for that team to travel to Fayette County for all their games. John Fedco, WPXI TV is in a prominent position with that school, I believe it might be school board president. Many 2012 football schedules with scrimmages can be already seen at http://www.highschoolsports.net.

Another note: Every WPIAL football team is scheduled 9 games. 10th game starts WPIAL playoffs. Four teams from each conference makes the playoffs, five teams plus a wild card in quad A. When teams see that they won't be making the playoffs, some teams schedule a 10th game against another non-playoff team. But less and less teams every year are doing that. They decide to just hang it up for the year after nine games.
