Plus, this deal eats up 2-3 years of free agency so its not one of those deals you see a lot that just eat up arbitration years. Plus from the Pirates standpoint it was key to do it now and not after this season, because right Cutch has only 2 1/2 years in the big leagues and that includes last years .219 average post All-Star break. Had he had another 25+ HR, 100+ RBI, and 30+ steal season this year the price would've been higher. Good work Bob, Neal, and Frank. Good work.
