Just because McCutchen is fast that doesn't mean their aren't players out there faster than him. According to the system they use at the Altoona Curve to rate a players speed (I'm not sure what that is but my guess is it is a variety of tests), he was the fastest to ever come through there.

Cutch has a great second gear, but Marte can be just as fast. Presley can fly, Tabata can run. This team can move, I like it.

That's one of the better stories I've heard though. At least it's going into a bank and earmarked for a kids' future....(all be it a kid who's dad woulda been able to pay for college anyway)

And now that same new pitching saviour is out of action for how long? because of a fouled bunt attempt hitting him in the temple! Maybe they should be like the little league'ers and use batting helmets with face cages. For that kind of money, I should think the management of the Pirates would look to protect their investment. But then again, I remember which team it is we're dealing with. Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown to kick comes to mind. Same ol' same ol'.

Could anyone else see poor Nate Mclouth get traded in June again or maybe Presley to make room for Marte?

Starling Marte will be an everyday player in Pittsburgh by season's end, and I think Presley is most likely the player that will be moved to make room for him while McLouth stays around as the #4 outfielder.

Marte, Mccutchen, Tabata, and Mclouth will be the outfielders in June Presley moved. If Hague keeps doing what hes doing Jones will be moved as well. If someone like the Rangers offer what they did last yr for Hanrahan love him but hes gotta be moved too.

With the size of PNC's left field, I could see Tabata being the one moved; but the most sensible thing would be Presly. Everyone's getting excited about 10 days in Fla with alot of the same pitchers Marte abused in Altoona, lets wait and see if he does the same thing in a couple weeks when the rotation guys on these teams are getting more innings.
