Re: CROSBY
Wow. He is one shot away from being Eric Lindros and he's already missed the better part of 3 years and ya sign him for 12? I hope there wasn't much garunteed money. To me that's like buying a lottery ticket and and saying I don't need a 401k.

I tend to agree, literally might be the riskiest player in American sports to ever receive a 100 million dollar contract.

Wow couldn't disagree more. can't see how you could let the best player in hockey walk away, especially at that price just look up the names making over 9 million in the NHL and tell me that's not a bargain. He could have demanded so much more. Honestly every professional athletic is one hit away from a career ending injury. And now a days a lottery ticket and a 401k are basically the same thing.

Re: CROSBY
I'll bet bottom dollar that Sid signed it because he's afraid of exactly what we talked about...happening. And you can also bet if he puts together 2 or 3 straight years of at least 65 games played, that contract will get torn up and he gets a bigger one, in that case, I won't have as much a problem...He still hasn't played for 2 consecutive months since his first concussion, so I'm not holding my breath on the 2 year thing.
