I don't think you will get many responses to the original post. The other Pitt fans are probably in Titans bathroom doing the circle jerk reading the "We were Penn State" sports illustrated.

Since Kirk decided to bring PSU into this topic for whatever reason, lets compare what Pitt and Penn State have a the positions Crimson mentioned.

QB - Draw, both teams are below average to say the least.
RB - Pitt by a long shot. Pitt has 3 (at least) RB's that would start at PSU this year.
WR - Pitt has the edge here, Street has 1st/2nd round potential, better than anyone on PSU's roster.

Pitt was/is better at RB and WR even when PSU was with Redd and Brown.

Ah, very interesting to see. Dorian Johnson DEcommits from his PSU verbal. Pitt may get him, but I could see him going elsewhere. His parents do not think Oakland is a very safe place for their 17 year old son. I guess Happy Valley is now apparently a safe place to be a young man for the first time in decades. Who knew?

Wrong, Kirk. I am spending time Writing an appeal to the NCAA asking them to vacate all of Pitt's football losses since the beginning of time. I think that I am justified in my appeal because if the Paternos and Lubranos can do it, why can't I file an appeal too? Pitt did not get their due process in each loss because every TD from the other team should have been reviewed under instant replay. Heck, even Anwar Phillips filed an appeal in support of the Great Enabler...you remember Anwar, the poster chid for Joe's ever famous concept of Depth Chart Justice who played in the Capital One Bowl while under disciplinary action for assault? But wait, he was acquitted so JVP had it right all along, right?

Don't think we will get a reply from Kirk, he's probably busy writing a petition to bring JoePa back to life.

Kirk never really liked Joe and if you read many of his posts at all you would have realized that. How has Pitt been capitalizing on the only other football power in their state being crippled with sanctions? Seriously not trying to be anti-Pitt here but have they done anything over the last month to take advantage of this situation?
