I think your dislike of BM is pushing you toward making assumptions. If you didnt hear an interview why even speculate? I just think youre reaching a bit far on this. Just relax. You cant win them all. Nobody thinks any less of fh because they lost. Trust me.

Assumptions about what? Most coaches, unless winning in a blowout, will say something complimentary about their opponent. Instead, Sheridan raved about his outstanding defense and special teams. It doesn't mean anything about what people think of FH. High school football has a playoff system, unlike college football. They do not have to impress anybody. Their actions on the field speak for themselves. YOU assume that Sheridan said something nice about FH and it wasn't in the game write-up. Why is YOUR assumption different than mine? At least I have proof that no compliments showed up in print.

"Forest Hills has been a measuring stick for programs around the area for years. They play football the way it’s meant to be played.”
-Kevin Sheridan as he said the day before the game in the program.

If there is more of a compliment to a team and a legendary coach, I'd love to hear it.
You assume Sheridan didn't have anything nice to say about the Rangers, when he clearly did just that on Thursday.

Spangler averaged 40 yards a punt. Dropped two inside the 20. He is being recruited as a punter, and he looked pretty good to me. That is included in the whole Special Teams category.

Just a question, When is a turnover a "forced" turnover? I guess by the true definition 2/4 seemed forced to me. But I'm not sure.

I know sportsfan, its insane to think any team/coach around here doesn't respect Forest Hills. I didn't know you had to compliment the team you just beat. I mean Bailey never really said anything more than "but they just made one more play than we did and won the ball game.” Is that complimentary enough?

Let it go man let it go. You don't know what kevin said in his post game so let's just simmer. Maybe the tribune was trying to save ink. Sad I missed this game it has historically been a good one. Big thanksto the guys @ d6 sports for all their work. Its pretty cool to sit in charlotte and hear a game back home live.

....Anyone ever seen a Joe Paterno Tuesday news conference? Anyone ever heard a Ken Salem pre-game radio show interview? Anyone ever read newspaper comments by Tony Penna about his next game? What do all of these guys have in common? They ALL praise their next opponent. EVERY coach talks up the next team they are going to play. So why should Sheridan have said anything different before the FH game? So what does Sheridan's pre-game remarks have to do with his remarks following the game? Crimson has to come up with a better defense than that. How many readers caught the review of the FH/BM game in the Tribune? After a game like this, many winning coaches would have found a way to say something positive about the game in general, or about their opponent. "It was a tough game". "We were sweating things out at the end". "They never quit". "The crowd got their money's worth tonight". But like a lot of young coaches, their focus is totally on their team. It's like the little pigs that went to market: we,we,we,we. I think it would have been a sign of good sportsmanship if he would have complimented his opponent in some fashion about the game just played. There is no rule that says you have to. But for the hundreds reading about the game that were not in attendance, it would have been a nice touch to a big conference game.
