can't say I'm shocked Clairton scored 52 points, I just thought Monessen would score a few more. Tyler Boyd might be the best player in the WPIAL regardless of class. The guy can play. As a Pitt fan I'm excited about Titus Howard as a potential Safety or Corner down the line. I'd love to see Boyd, just don't see it happening.

Monessen does have a couple of very good players, but they lack the role players that'll put them over the top. Their lines got pushed around 90% of the game. They made Chavas look like a very average to poor QB at times. Their RB's also missed a plethora of blocks that left Chavas left for dead(not literally). I think they'll find their way into the playoffs, but unsure if they'll beat the Avonworth's, Northgate's, Rochester's of the WPIAL. Monessen will greatly improve their program over this summer. The program definitely has a bright future and I think this league will help springboard it to another level. Best of luck to the Hounds the rest of the way.
