James Oliver - Tyrone RB

I just read in the paper that Tyrone's Jr. RB James Oliver rushed for a new single game school record of 340 ish yards in a single game. That also puts him over 1000 yards rushing for the year. The record was previously held by Tyrone's Jessie Jones. Congratulations go out to that young man.

Yeah...all in one half...and two carries on the 1st drive of 3rd quarter. Almost as unique, the JV tailback Hunter scored again...he was tied for 12th in the area in scoring headed into last nite. FYI, Mr Oliver was 3rd in the state in AA in rushing before last night, the boy from Richland was also in the top 10 at 9th or 10th(got the info from the maxpreps website)

I didn't know all of that. He must be a specimen at RB. Interesting to see how he will fair against Clearfield next week.

He's only a junior. I got to see him week one, and came away very impressed. If he keeps putting up the numbers, He'll play on Saturdays too.

Wow, those are some impressive stats on MaxPreps. 3rd in the State, all divisions... Very Impressive.
