2010 All Over Again in the D6 A Playoffs

Post by kmr »

This really looks like the 2010 D6 A playoffs with BG taking the place of BC. I can really see a finish to the 2012 district 6 playoffs ending like the 2010 playoffs. So many similarities BM plays BG couple weeks before season end just like BC played BM in which BM won that game. All the teams pretty much the same. Just unreal how this is looking and like 2010 a private school will win. BG then will go on and win 1 state playoff game.

I see what you are saying, but I wouldn't count on BG winning D6.

Bellwood has a good offense, and they know how to play.
Penns Manor proved last year they are better than people originally thought.
McCort isn't too far off from being undefeated.

All three could beat BG.

And the one playoff game seems likely, the likely candidate to play in the Eastern Final is Southern Columbia, and they are good.

Doesn't Bellwood absolutely own BG in football. I thought I read somewhere last year when they were in the same conference Bellwood never lost to them

^^^yes they do. But I think everyone else around d6 has gotten better. Penns manor has matured a lot in their rise, portage looks to shut people up, mccort is super dangerous and BG still can be beat by anyone of those teams

How's this for dangerous? Juniata Valley only has one loss to Bellwood in a high scoring game, and nobodg is talking about them. They have a nice running game, don't sleep on them

Crimson you are 100% right. Juniata may sneak into the Penns manor role from last year! Great point

Juniata Valley deserves more credit than they are getting. Their offense is lethal, scoring at least 34 points in every game but 1 (28 against Williamsburg). They have had a few shootouts, but you better be able to run with them, because I doubt they will be stopped. I will be scoring their game against West Branch on Friday.

JV does deserve a little more credit, but let's be real here. They are nowhere near last years Penns Manor team. They have some nice backs, but no one even close to the talent of Farens.

No. I wasn't comparing JV to Penns Manor, and no they have zero athletes that compare to Ferens, but they do deserve more credit. I just wonder if they will roll into the playoffs and then get knocked out in their first game like the past two seasons. Thoughts?
