Re: Richland at Bellwood
Trust me, most McCort alums didn't want to be there haha. I think they tried to charge McCort as much as possible. Understandably so. They had a field, McCort didn't. Logical thing would be to charge them lots of money, because McCort had limited alternatives. Crushers used to use Windber Stadium as a backup field if the Johnies ever made the Frontier League Playoffs, maybe they could have tried there.
Yeah, thats the PIAA. But District Six uses Bishop Carroll over Johnstown. I think price has had something to do with it through the years. But for the most part, no reason not play playoff basketball at Richland. Another reason for that, Richland is easier to get to from an out of town perspective. Highway is nearby.

Re: Richland at Bellwood
My prediction is Richland 28 Bellwood 7
Re: Richland at Bellwood
The thing about the field is that Richland doesn't care what they play on and if need practice on bad fields they have that one right next to the good one

To the B-A scorekeeper, no need to bring a tally sheet for B-A on Friday.
No contest, none at all. Rams are big, tough and on a mission this year.
Can pass, run, block, tackle and kick.
Sorry to pound you on the home turf.
Better luck next year.

Grant it Richland is a great football team and they have showed that they are on a mission to win, but Bellwood ain't too bad either. Not only that but the field could cause some trouble for both teams. I'm not saying that Richland won't win, but these are two great football teams and we will have to wait to see what happens come Friday night
Re: Richland at Bellwood
My prediction is 14-14 at half then final is 35-21 because Richland always makes great half time adjustments

So does John Hayes...lemme add some food for thought...Richland has looked awesome this year, but how many times have they played anyone from this side of the mountain? The sun rises and sets elsewhere too
