Gap Barbin of McCort is the best and most athletic lineman in the game, no doubt about it. And arguably the best player in the game.

And nobody is saying Penns Manor is a one man team. I've seen them live, they have talent. BUT Danny Ferens is so key to everything they do. Look at it this way, where are they without him? Certainly not 9-1. I put it like this. 2011 Auburn had a good, solid team. Do they go 14-0 without Cam Newton? Not even close. It's a compliment to Danny Ferens, and not a knock on Penns Manor as a whole. He makes everything click.

It doesn't really matter what Penns Manor can do without danny ferens because one he is not injured and two its not fall 2013. Either way one linemen doenst make a line crimson. Just like one player doesn't make a team. You never did answer the question their size compared to Ligonier

All I know, McCort was 4-0 with a two touchdown lead over Richland last season until Barbin got hurt. They went 3-3 to finish the year last season.

And you are wrong, it's A football. One player makes a HUGE difference in a team. One Linemen doesn't make a line, but it holds it together. Not to mention in A football you play both sides of the field.

Size wise, probably about the same. They don't have a giant 6-6 guy like LV, but Dorn is still enormous.

Thank you. They controlled the line of scrimmage that game too you said right? Also i never said it doesn't make a difference just that it doesn't make a line or a team? A good lineman can make the biggest impact on offense. unfortunately on defense its harder because its much easier to single you out with cut blocks and double teams. either way BM line is bigger and PM line is probably faster. Not saying which one is better here. That will be decided in who wins the game saturday.

Hmm ok. According to crimson, who watched both play, he says they are evenly sized. Either way Comets line will have to win the battle.

i've been saying that all season as well. I used the words "extremely feisty" but yeah they are athletic. Both teams will have their hands full on the lines no doubt about it.

also if you're arguing over who's bigger just look at the games on our site for comparisons lol

Who on PM will match up with Dorn and Roman? At 340 and 290 that is a lot of size and space taken up for the PM offensive line to block. Will PM have to double either of these guys?
