Can honestly see this game going either way. Mistakes and turnovers will be key. This is probably the semi-final game on that side of the bracket, can't see either of these teams losing to the winner of Portage-N.Cambria.

Can't see Portage or NC beating either team? Didn't NC already beat PM?
Saturday game should be interesting, I think PM will be too much for BM, IMHO!

Yes, NC already beat PM. Which is exactly why it wouldn't happen again. That was week 1 and PM was sitting on it's high horse coming off a district championship, thinking all they had to do was show up this year. That was their wake-up game.

One things that is different then most playoff games against mccort for almost every team, except Bellwood, is that Penns manor wanted this game. I was talking to danny last week before keystone and asked who do you guys want next week. He said, "mccort because we want to prove that we can beat the best out there and mccort is always a team favored in D6. We want to play the best team possible every week." I know its a cliche response but so often we have seen teams fall to mccort because their mindset. I would call it similar to heritage teams and lv. Most teams just considered lv a loss because they were AA. Penns manor saw them as somebody they could win against and it was a game. Rest of the season lv wasnt that unstoppable AA team to their opponents and games were much closer. This is the type of mind set I love about this comet team. Just like I believe mccort wanted to plat Penns manor too.

McCort should be used to playing with that bull's eye on their back. They usually get everyone's best game, and best atmosphere.

I'm expecting a great football game. This is how I see it.
Home Field +PM
Special Teams +BM
Run Offense +PM
Pass Offense +BM
Defense =
Playoff/Big Game Experience =
Preparation?
Will to win?
Turnovers?

It will be interesting to see the battle that happens in the interior line. PM has the best player in D6, and a well balanced offense that is more than just #12. Most of PM's games have been decided by halftime. They will have to be ready to go 4 quarters like they did against LV. I'm still saying final score PM 34 BM 22.

Not that Penns manor needs any more extra motivation but nc winning tonight might just push them more. They will want to play nc again and prove week one was a fluke

this game feels like the BC vs PM game two or three years ago. I think that competition has something to do with it. LHAC schedule is tougher than Heritage and the experience of playing those 9 games this year should benefit BM.

Young buck many things are different from 2009. First Penns Manor is the higher seed and McCort is coming off of 3 losses this year. Second no Josh Seidel. Third Penns Manor is coming off of a State Semi Final Appearance and District Title. Third Ligonier is now AA team that looks to have a chance at d6 AA and penns manor beat them. Fourth Danny Ferens and the comets have matured a lot more after 3 previous years of playoff runs. Five Lhac is somewhat down this year and Heritage is unusually strong this year at the top. Six Game is at Penns Manor where comets have not last in 2 years. There a lot of differences in this game.
