Did Tanner Solarczyk get hurt last night for the Rams? That kid's a really good back
Never thought I'd live to see the day Richland would beat Forest Hills in a D6 championship game. Great win for the Rams.

Re: Updates for tonight
Read Don's comments from this morning's Trib Democrap. The Rangers came out fired by emotion, shut the Rams down the first quarter, and had the ball first and goal from inside the 10, and made a costly flawed execution, and Richland held them out of the end zone. That swung the momentum, and a couple nice long plays got them out of trouble and enabled them to score. Solarzyck ? looked good, but don't know if he got dinged or if it was a recurring injury, but they held him out the second half. They really didn't need him. Congrats to the Rams and Brandon on his first of many championships. Represent D6 well the next few weeks! Congrats to the Rangers for an exciting conclusion to the season after that 2-3 start. Get 'em back next year!
It ain't over until it's over.
Re: Updates for tonight
To the best of my knowledge Solarcryk absents in the 2nd half was from a reoccurring injury. They just wanted to rest and save him for next week.

I don't know, but it seems to me that NBC gave Bellwood a much better game than McCort did. You know the same team that didn't make the final in district 5A! Maybe the talent level isn't that far apart this year in 5A and 6A. Something else to think about is that a Westpac team beat the ICC runnerup in 5A.

NBC is legit, McCort isn't 50 points worse than Bellwood. Game just spiraled out of control. NBC-McCort would be fun to see.

Re: Updates for tonight
All I can say about what transpired tonight at Mansion Park is that it was embarrassing to watch. Bellwood flat out wanted it more, and Hayes out coached Sheridan early on when it was still close, once things got bad they snow balled. Congrats to Bellwood though on their first D6 title since 2007.

Was that a dig at Bellwood?

Re: Updates for tonight
Reading through the Sunday sports section in the paper I was shocked at the Class A score.
Then going on-line and reading the posts on this website I was taken aback by the post of a Bellwood
championship first since 2007.
I would say that might be a dig as suggested from another reader.
I witness many high school games in the Cambria and Blair County area and have seen Bellwood
twice this year vs Glendale. I would say the "dig" reference was sort of mean or sour grapes especially
to a school who only has one district to draw from.
