please explain to me how the kendall boys arent team players? do you even watch any of the games? and yes bedford has the athletes to compete they have all the ability in the world they just lack confidence. Campbell was a great addition to the line, black when he stays inside and worries about the team and not his points, plays well, arnold plays well in spurts but hes only in 10th grade he will pull it together, and the kendall boys are the only guards bedford has zack kendall, from what ive seen, works harder then anyone on the floor and HITS the open man on a regular bases and when hes open he shoots or takes it to the hole. and alex kendall is averaging around 2 ppg.. so please explain to me how the kendall boys are not team players and bedford doesnt have athletes to compete, because there starting 5 are all athletic and know the game and how to play it.. bedford cuts back on T.Os and they will win.

You're name reflects exactly what you know about basketball and coaching. The coach at Bedford puts more time into that program than any other coach in the area. I know this for a fact. He works with what he has. Unfortunately in high school athletics in our day in age, attitude is not directly linked to the coaching. It comes from the home and most parents of this generation are trying to live out their athletic shortcomings through their kids. It's a shame.

Coach is also right. You can't compete with the Bedford wrestling program for athletes. I will say this, the Bedford elementary teams are chocked full of good athletes. BECAUSE OF THE VARSITY COACH.

I've seen the Kendall boys plays several times and have spoked to kids that have played with them. The main issue I have is they openly criticize their teammates and blame loses Current players have told me that! Obviously you are one of the Kendall's or are related to them. Keep defending them, although they would probably not be a starter on any other team in the county.

At what point does it fall back on the kids. If your not winning its the coaches fault. The problem with today's sports are the parents who didn't play anything think that they are coaches now and know what is going on. Mark Anderson does a great job with the Bison basketball program. If you don't have the horses you aren't going to win, period! So I just wish that the parents would stop getting on the message board and hide behind a computer and criticize someone who puts in so much time with the kids.

The stats for the Kendall boys speak for themselves (via MaxPreps). Zach, has 34 turnovers in 5 games and only 7 assists. Also he is shooting 18 for 71 from the floor. Alex has 28 turnovers and only 10 assists. The talent is not there, I'm not going to go into the other players stats. If he could decrease his TO's and increase his shooting percentage he would be a decent ball player. The turnover are either the result of poor passing and decision making or poor ballhandling. My guess is a combination of both. Anyway, a coach can only do so much with the talent he has, and right now the talent is not there.

Bedford has not had a good basketball
team for at least 12 years . they not only need a coach they need players that know how to play the game .
