News I like to hear...
Members of the Pittsburgh Penguins will be playing at the war memorial on Wednesday January, 9th against the Johnstown Tomahawks in a charity game.

Should be a really cool event. In related news, it seems the Tomahawks seems to be doing well in their inaugural season. That could probably be attributed to no other hockey available. People are getting their hockey fix other ways.
But they had Lemiuex drop the puck on opening night.
The Cup and two Penguins (forget which ones) were there another game.
The Hanson Brothers were there... All of those night were upwards of 4,500 people.
I don't know the rest of the league, but the Hawks play in a former minor league rink with history. They are putting good crowds up, I'm sure the NAHL is pleased.

Very nice this game is happening for charity, just to bad the general public won't get to see it. My wife was online when tickets went on sell at 10:00am and was not able to get any tickets. They were all gone before they went on sale to the general public. I don't have an issue with season ticket holders being able to get them early, but when a doctor can buy up a block of tickets early, now i have a problem.
