Thats a quality win for BG. They have some talented kids. I think PC's lack of guards will ultimately hurt them.

BG and BC are very good. It will take a great effort from another d6A team to knock either out. Will be interesting to see if the Bishops end up on different sides of the bracket or not.

I have seen Carroll play. I really like what they have.I have yet to see BG, but knocking off Penn Cambria is a good indicator.

Somerset pounded bellefonte last night and are looking good with the two big guys starting to knock the rust off and also getting great play from freshman guard dylan barnes. Close and barron are the two leaders on that team and if the 5 keep playing the way they are, they will be tough at the end of the season for teams to beat. They have a decent bench also. They got screwed at j-town by the refs on friday night though and still almost overcame it at the end. J-town shot 34 foul shots to somersets 8. The last quarter the refs fouled out barnes who was hot and got 3 fouls on barron early in the first half. The 2nd half fouls were 13 to 2 in favor of j-town. Good luck to teams who play there at j-town with willis and his crew!!!! Terrible reffing and one sided game. When they get wilkow and flyte up to their ability, they will be tough down the road.

You know many players or teams that would kick their butts?? It is a team game. Somerset also will get bryce mostoller back later in the season and he is a big, tough guy underneath that will also help them. Somerset has a decent bench also. If the two big guys get it together and bryce comes back, look out for somerset. I think they will be a better team at the end of the season when they will need it most. jmo. They have nice guards!

Somerset beat westmont by 10 or so tonight at westy. Westmont is young and roman does a nice job with those kids. They hustle and play their hearts out. I think westy only has 2 seniors on that team. They played good team ball and handled the somerset pressure well for such a young team. Somersets defense is nonexisting giving up layup after layup. They better practice their defense or a will be a long season for them. They don't stop the ball handler penetrating at all with team help or take charges! Somerset had a lot of turnovers also tonight. Good showing for westy tonight though playing a senior heavy team.
