Re: D6SN Boys District Six AA Semifinal outlook.
Well done, hard to argue with your analysis. I know you've seen at least 3 of the 4 teams in 6AA play live, so your analysis is informed. The best I could do is see some video of PC, McCort, and NC on a live broadcast.
I did notice that both PC and McCort lack a true PG. If either runs into a team that is quick, athletic, and applies legitimate ball pressure to the guards, it could and likely will be a problem for either team. Of course, both teams beat Johnstown which did just that.
BTW, in PIAA AA, 6-1 and 6-2 will both stay within District 6 and play 7-6 and 7-3 respectively. These games could be at Richland, CCHS, or possibly the AAHS Fieldhouse or Hollidaysburg if BEA is 6-1 or 6-2.
6-3 will hit the road to play 7-2 at a WPIAL site, likely somewhere like Gateway, North Hills, or North Allegheny. If 7-2 is Burrell or Apollo Ridge, the game will likley be at Plum or Gateway, possibly Butler or Hempfield or Norwin.
6-4 will travel out here to play the WPIAL champ 7-1. If it's BFalls or Quaker Valley, that game will be at NA, North Hills, or possibly even Ambridge.
So the 6AA semi winners get to stay home, the semi losers get the long bus ride.
My guess is all 4 6AA teams will be in action Saturday afternoon March 9.
