The Big Question will McCort Win a Game

After seeing the McCort Somerset game, McCort will be hard press to win a game this year. No offense to speak off, only 1 tounchdown in 3 games. The defense is playing ok, but I can see McCort being o-5 before the Westmont game. Westmont is showing progress each week and McCort takes one step forward and two steps back.

I believe McCort wins anywhere from 1-6 games this year. They could beat Bedford (week 4), Westmont (week 6), Johnstown (week 7), Heights (week 8), BG (week 9), and Central Cambria (week 10) depending on how they play those weeks.

I have them at 2-8 unless something seriously changes. They have talent. You have to wonder what the problem is. Not that it always translates but both senior and junior classes were undefeated in 9th grade.

I believe in the saying it takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch, and it's showing. He was touted to be one of the top players in the district this year after taking a whole year off. All I have seen is his anger towards his own teammates when things don't go his way and bad attitude on the field which he has had his team penalized for every game so far. It's not just football with this behavior, but every sport he plays. It looks as if the coaching staff wants to push him so badly that they keep feeding him the ball, rather than any other young man that wouldn't flinch or dive to the ground rather than take a hit. When you talk up a new player to be the savior of the team and let all others that have played and took their hits the last 3 years, what would you expect?

Never thought Mccort would go 0-3 this year. I still think 6-4 is doable and then if they squeak in who knows in the A bracket

Mccort isint as bad as they have looked. They opened with some tough games. Give them some time to mature and grow as a team, they will win most of their games going forward

They should beat Westmont, but that will be a tough game for them. It will be really tough to beat Johnstown and I don't see them even being in the game against Richland. I think they will beat Bedford. Not sure who the two remaining out of section games are but if one is BG that will most likely be a loss. I think they end up 4-6. That doesn't get you in the playoffs since they only take 8 teams in D6 A now. Portage gets in because of week schedule and BG and BC gets in from the LHAC. Bellwood will be the #1 seed. Penns Manor, Homer Center and Blairsville get in and that only leaves one spot for everyone else. The Rockwood situation could really screw things up because I believe D6 is going to calculate rankings differently then usual because some westpac D6 A teams will only have 9 games. This could hurt BC, BM and BG who play bigger schools and normally get good power points. There just won't be room this year for a 5-5 or 4-6 team.

Can't see McCort beating Richland, will have a problem with Westmont and Johnstown, maybe they beat Bedford. That Heights, BG and CC, after seeing what CC did to McCort at the Point. Maybe McCort is 2-8, but if they lose to Bedford and Richland, McCort will be hard press to win 1 game and if that happens, will McCort start looking for new Coach. News out of McCort the locker room is in bad shape, a lot of finger pointing, some player already talking about not coming out for football, because of the coaches or going back to their home school.
