Beautiful crisp day for football in Happy Valley today. Attendance at the Beav: 92,855. Less than the game with Eastern Michigan the week before. The thrill is gone.

anysport24: We have ALREADY established that Pitt has attendance problems. That's not new. No one is comparing Pitt vs PSU here. But now PSU is having problems at the gate. It used to be that PSU would have WELL over 100,000 vs an opponent like UCF. By the way, there were 38,000 at the Pirate game last night, and thousands at local high school football games yesterday in the Greater Pittsburgh area. The thrill is gone.

NO!!! This topic was definitely a jab at Pitt from the get-go, and can therefore elicit a response against Penn State. It's the "TIT FOR TAT" rule. The rule states that if a topic is started to DEFINITELY make fun of a school, then a response against the other school can be made.
