Pitt vs. New Mexico tickets going for 1.99 on Stub hub

Penn State fans know there is an attendance problem. There are many more reasons contributing to Penn State's problems than Pitt's. Pitt's tickets are a 1.99. You reference the Pirate game and high school games going on to justify Pitt's problems. You realize many of those Pirate fans are Penn State fans right? Not everyone from Pittsburgh likes the Pitt Panther' Moldy. Get out from under your rock.

Are you saying that a true blue Penn State fan, some of who could have bought their UCF tickets many months ago, preferred the Pirate game over being at Beaver Stadium. I thought being at a game at the Beav was the ULTIMATE sports experience. At least that's what the shyster has been telling everybody.

absolutely there were probably Penn State fans at the Pirate game last night who are normally at Penn State. 10k of them, no? I know Penn State is having issues with attendance. It happened when they instituted the STEP program and has gotten worse with sanctions. My guess is there is 70k for this weeks game, if that. I doubt it will ever get so bad to practically beg people to come for 1.99 a game, though.

Guess PSU fans think that $74 for a ticket is a rip-off. 30,000 empty seats in the last 2 games. That's got to hurt PSU. Gee, how are they gonna support ALL those other sports programs?

Speaking of attendance issues, what is going on with attendance at Forest Hills Ranger games? Ever since they put that new Putt Putt at the Ranger it has gone downhill

I called the PSU athletic office, but they were busy calculating how many wieners they needed to give away to help encourage a better attendance. You know, like they do at PSU basketball games. As far as FH is concerned, the first game attendance was really good. The 50/50 was way up there. Last Friday, it was still raining after 5 o'clock. That didn't help. ALOT of our fans sit on the away side. I bet more FH fans were on that side of the field than BC fans. Believe me, no one at FH is worried about FH football attendance.

Moldy makes so little sense he talks out of both sides of his mouth, while running in circles, and jumping back and forth over the fence. I'm 90% sure he is John Kerry. He 1st claims no one is comparing PSU and Pitt, I mention that this is a Pitt thread and he brought up PSU so we are comparing. He responds by a "tit for tat" rule that allows him to bring up and compare PSU to Pitt. So are we comparing PSU to Pitt or not??? Make up your mind (if you have one).
