penns manor @ Ligonier

Post by konjo78 »

Both teams undefeated, both teams are top their classes in points. Huge heritage implications and playoff implications. Is d6spn thinking of covering it? If not thats understandable. Thoughts on the game bleachercoaches

I would give Ligonier the advantage when it comes to skill players. The Rams passing attack is a lot more consistent than the Comets. I don't Ligonier will be able to run much on that defensive line of Penns Manor. Kowalski is a dangerous runner, he has to do a better job of protecting the football when he is running. Personally, I could see either team winning this game, but I still believe the front lines are where games are decided and I feel that the Comets have a clear edge up front on both sides of the ball.

This game is interesting to me. The Comets achilles heel in the past has been the pass. Liggy did that very well last weekend. I almost feel they used saltsburg as practice for PM.

Like lion said lv has a more consistent pass o. It would be hard to emulate pms line, as long as they are healthy man for man they will be hard to match. Should be a good game this weekend lv is a difficult place to play

Is this game in Ligonier? This weekend is Fort Ligonier Days. Liggy usually plays away that weekend.

The Ligonier Valley school district told us we can't cover games from their field. The press box is too small. We are covering Windber at Portage this week, and Ligonier at Homer Center next week.

Thanks crimson. Liggy has 2 big games 2 weeks in a row. Either way week 9 pm vs hc ia going to have the
Biggest implications from heritage this year. I mqy even suggest holding off hc trip if pm wins this week sice I believe comets play in hc this year

We can give Beitel quotes before the game even starts "Bloom is god, he is a stud. If he isn't a D-I player then I don't know what one is" Seriously, if you don't believe me just watch the tape.

"This Freshman is the real deal, we didn't even know how good he was. Even though he played all year last year in junior high."

"I'm tired of people saying we can't win games outside of this Class A Conference, I guess we showed them tonight"

Some of my favorites, I may have paraphrased, but I'm sure most get it.

Roger beitel making insane quotes? That's nothing new. He makes poster boards for teams for inspiration
