You are correct old school the scoreboard didn't cost the school district anything. Around 50% of the cost was all brought together from fundraisers/donations of the community. The rest was donated by the company who put up the scoreboard. I'm simply saying the majority of times it's a numbers game. Schools and coaches who build programs have success more often but numbers are very important. Most years there is a substantial difference among top teams from class to class. You guys try to blast public single A schools for not being able to compete in predominantly AA and even AAA conference.
