I was trying to remember. Didn't they beat Penn Cambria in that tournament? And PC was really good.

LOL PM Lost to them a couple years ago. What a crock that school is. I looked at their numbers and it was like 30 boys total. I want to see them perform their musical. I think they have around 6 kids playing D1 college.

When PM played them they had a kid from Schenley that was thrown out of his previous school. He was driving drunk at 15 and hit a 12 year old. So he went to Lincoln park. I believe he was leading the WPIAL in 3's.

Elijah Minnie from LP is the player you're talking about PAPride. He is like 6'8", not 6'5", and plays a lot facing the basket. Very athletic.

LP has 3 players who will likely play D1 college basketball...Minnie, Rowan, and Skovranko. They are all 6'6"-6'8" and talented. LP lacks depth and guards though.

6 8 " Holsinger played at CC last year, now at BC this year. with 6' 6" Lee and Martinazzi and a whole host of other very capable players, they are the team to beat in D6A. HC will be good no doubt, but that kind of size and experienced talent will be tough to beat. I watched them in the sumer leagues at Building II destroying anything Altoona and surrounding area could muster. There are a few sleeper teams out there in D6A this year, should be a fun year. Unlike D6A football, hoops seem to be on the rise in South Central PA.

What's the deal with the Holsinger kid? They have him at CC until 7th grade, move him to All Saints in 8th (And somehow played on the BC freshman team along with parochial), the kid goes back to CC in 9th and doesn't play whatsoever, last year he plays at CC, and this year....back at BC.

What an odd situation, and a lot of movement for a kid.

Traino retiring had a lot to do with all of that, he was by far the best coach in the area, and I got the privilege of callin him my uncle
