I'm hearing there will be two people coming from the Richland High to BMHS.

It's amusing to speculate about this guy going here, that guy going there, but there seems to be a lot of rumor-mongering lately. Is it just to get a rise out of others, to throw a bunch of stuff against the wall to see what sticks, or does the rumor starter just get his jollies stroking his ego, trying to make others think he knows more than the rest of us?

I'm pretty sure I said Bailey and assistants as well as Sheridan so apparently I've got two of the three right so far?

Over the last 4 years there have always been an addition, subtraction, or re-shuffling of at least one coach at some level in the organization. Coaches have left for Windber that I know of, and maybe other places as well, so its a pretty safe prediction.

That someone would leave for McCort is possible, but I would be surprised if it were Bailey. He has a pretty nice position now. If one of the assistants goes, I would also be surprised if it were any of those that are also teachers because of the loss of income and break from the retirement system, but hey, who knows, maybe BMCHS will make it worth someone's while.

Richland's success is reflective of all the coaching staff, among other things, so I would imagine that a coach from there would be looked upon favorably. If any go, I hope they do well in 9 games out of the regular season.

Tom Smith and Tim Reagen are McCort grads and ex McCort coaches, and current Richland coaches, so those are the rumors. Keep in mind McCort has a principal job still not filled, not that I expect a coach/principal combo, but that job could influence the coaching vacancy.

All I'm saying is what I'm hearing don't be surprised if Bailey isn't the coach next year but once again it could be Richland people blowing smoke.

I know this was kinda already said but, I could understand the rumors a couple years back about Bailey going home to FH. Because FH pays their Admin. people more than Richland. But, I don't know how salary and public school pension wise that McCort could make it worth it to move. Tom Smith as of this year is the elem. school principal. Unless BMCHS's board can come up with a big donation, maybe profits from the Chinese students. Even when people say it's not about the money! Its always about the MONEY!

It's not unprecedented to work in one school district and coach in another.
