Yes Moldo PSU bought a home game just like Pitt did in 2012 and every other team has done that has hosted a game in this tournament since 2011. Pitt actually paid to host 4 games in 2012. But I'm sure the circumstances are much different for those teams!

Crimson...I watched the youngest Jeter vs Central in the playoffs. He definitely needs to work on his footwork and offensive game but what freshman doesn't. He's a big boy for sure just hope that doesn't become a negative and he gets a few inches taller. Someone to keep an eye on for sure!

You say it was mentioned on the Fan? I'm just curious. This story would obviously be lost in the shuffle of the Tournament starting Thursday. I've defended the kid to a lot of Pitt fans that don't like him, I don't want to see him leave.

I was on my way home Saturday and had the 93.7 on. It was mentioned on the postgame like it was common knowledge. They mentioned Jones specifically as a guy who might not be there next year because they have oversigned this recruiting class and need to have someone leave the program to open up a scholarship. I'm sure if you look at returning scholarship players and incoming you would be able to figure out someone needs to go.

All signs point to Uchebo taking a medical hardship to open up a scholarship. If Jones leaves it won't be because he was forced out, it'll be because he'd rather start at a school like Penn State than be the 11th man at Pitt.
