Re: 6AA Playoffs
That's just the thing. D6 is huge, and the Point Stadium doesn't really accommodate most people and the Curve Stadium aren't interested (and rightfully so) in hosting every round of the high school playoffs, and D6 isn't interested in shelling out that much money for it either.
The homefield advantage concept is harmless, it just happened to be a rainy week to start the playoffs.

FWIW, I see your point of view. It just seems like a good opportunity going to waste. Kids from S. Huntingdon, Blairsville, Bald Eagle, Penns Valley never will see let alone set foot and play in , the venerated POINT.
It ain't over until it's over.

If you go the neutral route for playoffs, I'm just concerned there isn't enough good venues in D6 to accommodate everyone fairly. The Point is nice, and could be utilized more for high school baseball, but I would imagine some teams would take the home game instead.
The Point was used for State playoffs a few years ago, It would be nice to see it used again. It would be a better venues than the little field in Homer City, Punxsutawney, and Somerset.

Does UPJ even use its own field anymore?

To the best of my knowledge, I don't think they do.
With how early college baseball starts, and how that field drains, I just don't think it's usable half the time. They even stopped using it for AAABA for a few years now.

Re: 6AA Playoffs
If, FH beats PV, do they then get to host a second round game since they are seeded higher than Ty.? Or does Ty get the home field because they beat the higher seed MU? I had to cancel my flight to MU.
It ain't over until it's over.
