If no one is going to post. How about we at least start talking the game of the week in the conference.

Somerset @ Forest Hills

Can only imagine what BG is going to do to Westmont

Bishop McCort @ Cambria Heights
Both teams coming off loses in this one. Bishop McCort got pounded by talented forest hills but do have some young key guys. Cambria Heights lost to a not so great Westmont team. Cambria heights is not looking too good this season but could possibly have a bright future as well. McCort gas the better youngsters and get it done.

BM 20 CH 7

Johnstown @ bishop carroll
Johnstown impressed everyone by beating a solid CC team last week. They look to have a good group of playmakers the Carroll will have absolutely no answer for. Carroll got smashed last week and looks like it may happen again if they don't come out stronger.

J 39 BC 6

Somerset @ forest hills
Let's get to the game we are all waiting for. Two top teams in the LHAC are going into a battle at sidmen. Look for Donohugue and Blough to be slightly less affective this week against the stout Somerset D. Barnes is very good and I see them pulling it out in a close fashion

S 36 FH 28

Westmont @ Bishop Guilfoyle
Both teams come in at 1-0. One team will leave 2-0. That team will be BG. Too much talent on one side vs. a bottom half of the conference team. Chadbourn will basically show off in the first half and the second half is garbage time. Big win for marauders

BG 58 W 0

Bedford @ Central Cambria
This will be a very good game as well. Big powerful will Seymour will try to get the Devils their first W but the Bidon of Bedford will have none of that. Bedford gets both the running and passing game going with QB Montgomery and will squeeze out the win.

B 21 CC 15

Richland @ Penn Cambria
Penn Cambria had a good game with a very good team in Bedford but not sure how good they really are. Richland took a severe blow last Friday to BG but I believe that may have been Richland was just outmatched. They will come out this week and get back to their old winning ways.

Big early-season matchup at G.H. Miller Field in Sidman tomorrow. That place should be as packed as it has for any regular season game there in the last 10 years. Looking forward to it.

If the Rangers D can bend without breaking and continue to play opportunistic defense by creating a couple turnovers, I think the offense can do enough to get the job done. Keeping Mostoller out of the endzone and out of the FH backfield will be the tough task for the Rangers. Evidenced by last week's scores, both teams can put up points. It could come down to who has the ball last.

Prediction (with maybe a little bias):
Donoughe, Blough and the boys end Somerset's current 1-game win streak against FH. Forest Hills 34, Somerset 24.

1. I am most confident in picking BG over Westmont, the Marauders just have too many options on offense for Westmont to keep track of. I'll say 63-0.

2. I think I am second most confident in picking Johnstown over BC. I think Johnstown has an improved offensive line, and that will allow for the offense to show some balance. Terrell Jones is a good back, Kareem Gibson can do it all, and they have a good QB in Updyke that can sling it around to everyone. I'll say 35-6.

3. I think Richland gets a win over PC. They had such a tough opener to break in all those new starters, but I think they are better than what they showed. Richland has two kids that can break runs in Warshel and Farina. Penn Cambria has a tough D, but I still worry about their offense. I'll see 18-0.

4. I think I'm leaning with Heights over McCort, but it could go either way. McCort has some talent, I'm interested in what Davitch can do. Heights has two Links leading the way, I think they'll be able to move the ball. I'll say 20-14 CH.

5. Bedford and CC is a tough one. Two good QB's going at it with Montgomery and Seymour. I'm leaning with Bedford 24-20

6. Forest Hills and Somerset is a reallly, really good game Both teams have weapons on offense, but I think Somerset is a little ahead on defense. Somerset 30-24.

Penn Cambria gets the ball rolling with a win in their first home game of the year vs Richland I guarentee a victory if they don't win or atleast are within 7 or so points I'll never post on here again. They played one hell of a game last Friday vs a very good Bedford team, they were down 13-6 and driving inside bedfords 20 at one time before a fumble so watch out for them you guys are gonna be surprised

You didn't have to put your Bleachercoaches status up as collateral, but since you did, that makes things interesting lol.

PC was a little better then I expected. They play physical and have a very good athlete at QB. I expect them to finish in the middle of a much improved LHAC overall this year.

1) I'll take Heights over BM

2) J-Town Big over BC

3) Somerset over FH close game between 2 of the top 4 teams in the conference. IMO.

4) BG huge over Westy. Sad to see a program like this fall as far as they have.

5) Bedford in a close one over CC. Bedford starting only 2 seniors should get better as year goes on.

6) PC in tight one over Rams.

Somerset has more than Barnes. Heiple, and beeman are fast also and mostoller can't be tackled. They also have eller that plays offense and is fast. They have way more speed this year on defense and offense. Slayback is a beast on offense and defensive line! That defense flies to the ball! Forest hills has 2 game changers in blough and donoghue. Defense pitched a shut out last week, but mccort moved the ball a lot. The ints killed mccort. Should be a good early test for both to see who one of the front runners is in that lhc division. Somerset starters were out in the 2nd quarter and running clock the rest of the game. I think it is pick ur poison playing that somerset offense that has speed all over. They can throw the football too! Good luck to both teams. Tough to beat bailey at fh though! Should be a good one to watch with a ton of playmakers. It looked like the fh qbs knee gave out on the last int return he had twice on that td. He never returned. Hope he is alright!
