Re: D6 AA Teams
If Huntingdon eeks out a win vs LV this week they should finish 6-4 key word should. Otherwise the 8 spot could be a 5-5 hdon, LV or even a 5-5 FH depending on their QB making it back and the rough last half of schedule.kmr wrote:I don't see the top 4 teams in the AA standings losing. I also don't see Central Cambria losing another so I would put them at 5. After that you got 3 LHAC teams and Ligonier Valley battling Iit out for the final three spots.

Tyrone only played 2 quarter against Huntingdon. I don't see how they even get in the playoffs

They are 2-3 with remaining games against LV, BEA, PO, Central, and JV. If they beat LV they should beat BEA, PO, and JV to finish 6-4. It's not that they are very good it's just their schedule is very poor the rest of the way.

Re: D6 AA Teams
It's just the state of AA this year. Huntingdon is the 4th best team in the Mountain League it seems. That's good enough to get them in this year probably. The Mountain is the only conference that is going to guarantee you at least 100 points a week for a victory. The LHAC is now 2 AAA, 5 AA, and 5 A teams. The ICC only has MU and SHC as AA now. Ligonier Valley is obviously the only AA in the Heritage.
Re: D6 AA Teams
Pretty evenly split between D4 and D3. PV was the only D6 team on their schedule.Warrior1554 wrote:Doesn't Juniata play a majority of its schedule against D4 teams?

Re: D6 AA Teams
They also play a pile of sophs. And they're decent on offense. Not sure about the problem on D, whether it's age/size or scheme or just bad tackling. But they'll keep improving next couple years and they have a nice group of freshmen.TAHS92Alum wrote:Tyrone only played 2 quarter against Huntingdon. I don't see how they even get in the playoffs

Re: D6 AA Teams
There's 14 teams and 8 spots, being able to get in may be a 5-5 record possibly even 4-6.

You should follow the forum threads a little closer.Warrior1554 wrote:whats up with Forest Hills? I heard they are a good team, but looking at scores it appears that they do really good, or really bad. Just some small issues that need ironed out or is there a bigger problem?

Huntington did not look good against CC in scrimmage either, got outscored like 5-1. Just helps compare the MAC and LHAC.
