Psu has two good backs committed. Whitehead is good enough to play offense though. Best pro potential on D though

This is one of the most down to the wire recruitments that I can remember. Pitt fans are certain he is a panther. Penn state fans on 247 sports are saying he is a lock for penn state. Crystal ball predictions have swayed to penn state today.

I haven't seen any Pitt fans thinking he's coming to Pitt.

I hear he wants to enroll early. I will say this about Whitehead's recruitment. He handled it with class. He wasn't out spreading rumors or bad mouthing coaches. He's kept it quiet and close to the vest. It's a little refreshing, I've followed some recruitments lately and they would change their top 5 each week. Retweet fans from different schools, just really buy into the attention of it all.

Whitehead handled it well, I'll give him that.

I have seen Pitt's scout free site and heard there is confidence on the rivals pay site from a few friends. The 247 pitt guy broadcasts his info on twitter

I have pay accounts to Penn State sites and there is confidence on 247sports. Others are quiet.

Karlo Zvoko is the 24/7 kid/WPIAL Insider. He can be annoying at times, but he's gotten better in the past year. He nailed the Dravon Henry recruitment, so I'll give him some benefit of the doubt, he's been right before.

One guy on Pantherlair's premium board, of which I subscribe, is saying Pitt has a chance. He's a Central Valley local and has some inside input. He says it more down to Pitt/Penn State than people realize. He said JW likes being able to play at Pitt early, and Pitt is selling him that he will play some offense too and be the return man. He likes Franklin and the PSU atmosphere.

Obviously he has no interest in going too far from home considering his top four. I still think WVU, but he's played it close to the vest. Every site for every time has some sort of connection, and they feel confident. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

The buzz on Twitter this morning is that nobody really knows but Whitehead himself. The Rivals guys are changing their minds every few minutes. It's funny to watch. BUT I've heard the most about Pitt, PSU, and WVU. Not much about OSU.

I've heard it was down to PSU and WVU, I've also heard Pitt-WVU, and Pitt-PSU. All those predictions I've seen before noon.

I'll still say West Virginia.
