Was just reported that Pitt RB James Conner will play both ways Thursday night vs VA Tech. Like this decision???

I've been against it, but in some sense it may help the offense as much as it helps the defense. Teams are loading the box on him and he's being neutralized. I still would like him to get 18-20 carries a game, but anymore isn't helping him or anyone. Getting Chris James and Rachid Ibrahim involved may help this team.
Let's make no mistake about it, Conner is second nationally in rushing. He's very good. This team just needs to shake things up a little. Conner needs to remain the starting running back, it's clear he's the best on the team, but if you can get him from 25 carries to 18, and get him on defense on third downs, it may make him and this team more effective.

Conner only has 156 carries in six games. That's 89 fewer than the guy at CT.
