I really like him as a player but he is not a mvp level player. He gets tired quick, only is good for pass rushing, and can easily be abused. He gets the hype because of the media even though his teammates never get credit for plays. After every play its about jj watt even if his teammates are the ones making big plays, like the fumble.

I just don't think you'll have many people following you on this one, stats and eye test don't really lie. JJ Watt is one of the 4-5 special players in this league. He has more QB hits this season than half of the teams in the league. That's honestly absurd. He can put more pressure on a QB by himself, than entire 4 man defensive lines in this league. Think about that.

When I watch jj watt I see a 1 trick pony that good teams take advantage of easily. Steelers did that and so did the Cowboys. Im not afraid of a defensive player I can easily gameplan around!

You can't be on the 21st ranked defense in total yards and be considered an mvp player. He's not better than von miller, demarcus ware and dqwell jackson from the Colts. Simple as that dont let the hype and media fan boys trick you into forgetting about stats with him and his team. He's been an average starter for defensive star.

I'm gonna stop arguing with you, but that one-liner is on par with calling McCutchen a B player. That list is growing.

If he really was some amazing player his team wouldn't be in the bottom half of the league in all defensive categories.

He's not in the top 10 this season in sacks, tackles and he hasn't even FORCED a fumble yet. What about that says league mvp? Or even best defensive player in the nfl?

He's been figured out? This includes this year, last year, and 2012. Get a clue buddy just when I thought your sports knowledge couldn't get much worse after your McCutchen comments. This is right up there with it. By the way how far did Kershaw drop in your player rankings after choking in both playoff games when his team needed him most? Is he down to being a C player?

This is fun to watch unfold.

OK, JJ Watt isn't the best player in the league
But no, he isn't even the best defensive player in the league
Nope even further, he isn't even the best defensive player in his division
To, yeah he's been figured out.

By the end of this thread, he's going to shipped off to play in the CFL since he isn't an NFL caliber linemen..
