by the numbers it would appear that BG is the slight favorite.

Gotta laugh when you see a team's tackling stats where guys have 105 tackles but only 20 solo...

High school tackling stats certainly are "inconsistent" - to say the least.

Why? Tackle #'s are always skewed, but a solo tackle is a 1 on1 play. 80-90 % of tackles are multiple defenders. First 2 guys get assist on those... No solo. Unless it's a tank, I'd question any tackle stats with 40 or more solo... Just don't happen that muchlhacbigfan wrote:Gotta laugh when you see a team's tackling stats where guys have 105 tackles but only 20 solo...

Here are the NFL tackling stats. Everyone has more solos than assists.

Either way, what we have is two dominant teams.
Bishop Guilfoyle has been slightly more dominant in only allowing 2 points per game and scoring more points.
Do the numbers mean anything at this point? Probably not. But do they help paint a picture at this point? I think they do.

I don't pay close attention to the NonFootballLeague, but they probably score theirs differently. If you go by 1 solo or 2 assist guideline, you'll have that 99% of the time. Every defensive coach I've ever been around preaches and repeats a hundred times a day "every one to the ball". So in most cases you're getting 2 or more guys in on a stop . = 0solos

You do get blitz sacks, but most of your solos come on pass plays with a db/wr 1on1. Which probably explains the Nfl larger solo #'s and y their leading tacklers are db's and lb
