Seriously, WHAT DOES THIS EVEN MEAN ?!?!? Seriously proving my point by your own accord. How is ANY of this connected to what we have been talking about or anything ?!?!? Just spewing off with your fingers on the keyboard once again without any relevance on to what the subject matter is or anything of the sort so you just type whatever is farting around your brain that moment and BOOM its a post reply.....just wow.

You made a comparison to last year! So I made one of 3 past years. Pretty relevant I could think

What's funny is a portage fan trying to have any idea of what it takes to win d6 :) like you guys even choked away your own conference championship game at home.

A lot of people are getting andy over a potential match-up three weeks from now. Here are the facts: Blairsville hasn't won a District 6 title, Portage hasn't won a District 6 title, BG won two a generation ago.

School history has nothing to do with the 2014 season.

Simple probability would suggest the heritage winning more D6 A titles. Before this year LHAC had three teams in I believe. How many heritage? 6 or 7. Westpac has 3 or 4. This is simple math my friends. Not that it has anything to do with it but I like to get konjo all worked up and here him start ranting about the heritage! Its amusing.

Being that BG and Blairsville are the 1 and 2 seeds it goes without saying that people are already talking about this match up. As posted earlier, this is three weeks away and anything can happen in the next two weeks that prevents one or both of these teams from getting to the title game. With that being said I would warn all of you to not sell Blairsville short when making your picks of this game. Redbank Valley went from a record setting 614 yards passing to 74. The weather did play a role in maybe two passes in this game but the majority of struggles came from quarterback confusion of what defense he was seeing. That shoots a little hole in the past posts of throwing over the top of 8 or 9 in the box and racking up big passing numbers theory. Blairsville does not have a strong history in the post season and Portage ran all over the field on them twice last season and BG has assembled a very powerful team (although D6 has called into question their assembly process that will not be addressed until January) they still have a very strong team and if you still don't believe in them that is fine, my only advice would be jump on the BG bandwagon if you want, just hold on to your wallet when you do!!

Dragoncat, Blairsville definitely has a solid team back again so I'm not here to downplay that whatsoever. They are going to be contenders in the playoffs for sure. HOWEVER, them beating Redbank Valley is not quite as impressive If you look a little deeper into it. Although RBV is 7 - 2 this season, the teams they beat this year have a combined record of 16 - 53. Now the record of the two teams Redbank Valley has lost to...19 - 1. The best team they've beat is 5 - 5.

Personally, I just believe Homer Center last year was a better battle tested team for the playoffs through a tougher Heritage Conference schedule and playing Portage in the regular season. Blairsville MIGHT get another shot at the Mustangs this year, but we have to play A LOT better this week against Homer Center than we did against Berlin or you'll see the Wildcats again for the chance to clash with BG.

Portage should beat HC by at least 3 touchdowns. Homer hasn't played well in the last 5 weeks or so.
