Penn State at Pitt Wrestling Open Thread.

Post by Crimson's Ghost »

The NCAA released their rankings for the week, Pitt is 11th while Penn State is 4th heading into the big match.

The are wrestling this one at the Petersen Events Center and not the Fitzgerald Fieldhouse. Tickets are either $8 or $12

Tickets can be found here > http://www.pittsburghpanthers.com/ticke ... restl.html

Is anyone planning on going?

My plan is to take off Friday, attend the North Catholic-Clairton / Aliquippa-South Fayette games at Heinz Field in the morning/afternoon and maybe head to Oakland grab something to eat and head up Cardiac Hill and watch the match. If not, I may stick it out for all four football games.

If anyone is interested in going, maybe we can grab a bite to eat and a beer before hand. Let me know.

Failed to mention that this match is next week, but I figured everyone knew that.

Why? It's PSU wrestling. As someone else mentioned, no one cares.

If Tyrone isn't playing, I'll probably be contemplating a trip

I said "maybe" nobody cares, since the last topic drew little to no interest, maybe this topic will generate more interest. but Pitt-Penn State anything seemingly gets people excited no matter the sport.

I sure as heck still don't care about PSU wrestling, but I would still like to see Pitt win, plus the Petersen Events Center is 5 minutes from my house.

You have two top 15 programs in any sport at the division one level , it's worth $8.

For reference, someone states on the football board the District Six A game is Friday and AA is Saturday if that affects anyone.

Just an FYI , there should be 2 different all d6 matches. Garbinsky(Tyr-Pitt) vs Law (FH-Psu)
And Rizzo (Rich-Pitt) vs Gingrich (BEA-Psu)
