Chris is from ESPN WVSL 92.3 radio. They cover the Susquehanna Valley sports scene. I am a huge fan of this station. Sunbury, Selingsgrove , Lewisburg, Danville, Shamokin, Mt Carmel and Bloomsburg demographic. I urge any fans who want to listen to the radio broadcast to go on line for their call. To answer Football Fan 1 about coaching rumors, Carmy still is the coach at Mt Carmel. I hear all kinds of rumors and will not speculate. Sheppy was brought to Berwick as the next guy here. There are rumors Coach Curry is stepping down. We will soon find out what will happen. Where is the Somerset - Selingsgrove game to be played? I may go on a road trip next week.

As Edsell said, we cover the Heartland Conference and follow Edsel's Dawgs as well. We do a "Game of the Week" every Friday and then a couple guys and I have a local show on Sunday AM. We used to cover Selinsgrove exclusively but started with the GOTW in 2012.

The more I watch Somerset team film (if you can still say film)... I think talent combined with good coaching is going to result in a big win over Selinsgrove.
Pre game gameplan and in game adjustments seem to be a strength for Somerset. Somerset's defense will limit the Seals to less than 120 yards offense and provide a shorter field for scoring plays. Slayback will occupy 2 or 3 lineman/fullback and Beeman, Eller, and Mostoller will get multiple tackles for LOSS. I will take the same score as last week Somerset 27 Selinsgrove absolutely NOTHING.....BACK TO BACK SHUT OUTS for COACH Schleich on DEFENSE!!!!!!!

I like the enthusiasm here but lets not get carried about. Selinsgrove is a solid team. That score could easily go the other way also.

Somerset has never seen the speed they will see tonite in the Selinsgrove backfield. It will be entertaining to see how they try to cope with it. If they nail the kid early and slow him down they will have a chance. If they let him get off, they will have no chance.

Selinsgrove 28-14. Somerset is a good team and has some great kids and good coaching but has the terrible misfortune of playing in a weak conference.
