I shouldn't say that, but at his current pace, his job is very secure . If you only miss the tournament once every 12 years, chances are you won't get fired at a school like Pitt.

He would have to miss the tournament a few years in a row or have an academic or behavior type scandal for him to be fired.

If he were to be fired he would be unemployed for less than 10 minutes...

Again, Pitt starts 3 true sophomores, and two juniors. There are only 2 seniors on the roster, one of which is hurt, the other (Randall) is a transfer from Rutgers after their team had coaching problems. What else does konjo expect at this point in time?

Well Pitt probably shouldn't have lost to Hawaii, but that's hardly grounds for dismissal for a very good coach like Jamie Dixon. Most Pitt fans I know, and myself including, expect big things behind this five man sophomore class. Thought maybe they would be an 8/9 seed again this year, maybe jump to a 4/5 seed next year, and be a top 8 team in 2016/17 season. That's the plan right now.

Pitt dominated, but the score doesn't reflect that. Chaminade made a lot of three's to keep it close, Pitt out-rebounded them 51-17. Big game tomorrow, whoever the play.

A lot of really good teams start large amounts of true sophomores and true freshman. Duke only has 2 seniors! Kentucky 3! Why is it okay for a program that used to be a top 3 seed lock to turn into a last in at large bid team? They beat a d2 school tonight! Wooo hooo. Dixon is on the hot seat just ss much as creen is in Indiana.

If Pitt was dumb enough to get rid of a coach that was voted a top 25 college coach by the basketball experts last year, I'd pray Penn State would some how get him to come here. The only way he won't be the coach at Pitt anymore is if he decided to retire. He is in no way at all on the hot seat.
