Pitt at Miami Open Thread
Game is Saturday7:00 ESPN2.
Miami opens as a 10.5 favorites. Pitt playing for bowl eligibility and James Conner is questionable right now. If he's out, Pitt's chances at an upset go way down.
I'll say Miami 45 Pitt 28

Crimson, is there anything for Miami to play for here other than Senior Day or a slightly better bowl? Do they have any shot at the Coastal Division title? Just curious because I know Pitt will be playing for bowl eligibility and it might increase their chances if Miami might not be playing with the same urgency. I would think Conner's health is a big x-factor even though the freshman they brought in against Syracuse looked pretty good on the few snaps I saw of the game.

Miami is always tough at home

Penn State is looking at the possibility of playing in the Pinstripe bowl against an ACC opponent. Any chance that if Pitt wins, it will be them?

Miami has nothing to play for other than pride, and if you think Heinz Field has poor attendance, Saturday should be a whooping 10,000 fans. They are bowl eligible and that's about it. GT locked up the division.
Pitt and PSU both have been linked to the pinstripe and detroit bowl. For money's sake, both are close in proximity and it would draw a good crowd. I would think of both are eligible it wouldn't be a bad idea.

As satisfying as Pitt's B-Ball win over Kansas State was last week, tonight's football win over Miami was even more so.
